Welcome to Chicagoland Voices

Chicagoland Voices was founded in 2011 by friends who have spent their lives teaching others to perform but rarely get the chance to sing for themselves. An auditioned choir based in Cary, Illinois, many of our singers are school music teachers and voice teachers in the area. We perform a wide variety of music from classical and Broadway to pop and vocal jazz. Our singers have performed with every major ensemble in Chicago, from the Chicago Symphony Chorus to the Lyric Opera Chorus, Cor Cantiamo, Chicago Master Singers and Lakeside Singers among many others. We were honored to be featured on The Equilibrium Anthology, an album of trailer and commercial music that has been used by many media outlets including ESPN, Regal Cinemas, AMC Theaters, and many more.

Audition Information

Auditions for Chicagoland Voices are held twice each year. We hold auditions in August and again in January. The audition process is simple and requires no preparation. Each audition will take approximately 10 minutes. You will sing a familiar song or two that we provide, do some warm ups as a vocal range test, and sight read a small excerpt. We will hear singers from every voice part at each audition, but we will maintain a balanced group so we may not accept everyone who auditions.

Upcoming Audition Dates
August 24 and 31, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Cary United Methodist Church
500 N. First St. Cary, IL 60013

We rehearse most Monday nights from 7:30 - 9:00 pm beginning the week after Labor Day and running through mid-May.
